International scientific research has shown that sexual health is a fundamental requisite for general health, well-being and human development.

The World Health Organization (WHO) Declaration of Sexual Rights (2004, 2006) is grounded on the premise that the promotion of human development will necessarily involve sexuality, sexual health and sexual rights entitlement. These goals are driven by scientific advances in sexology (biology, medicine, psychology, sociology) that inform effective programs in sexual health improvement and prevention.

The Carlo Molo Onlus Foundation works to promote sexual health and to prevent and treat conditions affecting human sexual function:

  • Dissemination of Information
  • Training and Education
  • Research in gender identity disorders
